About Kim:
Kim Christopherson is the owner and creative force of Kimberbell Designs, a sewing, quilt, and embroidery design pattern company. Kimberbell products are available online and in quilt and fabric shops around the country. She recently debuted her first fabric line for Maywood Studio called, "Merry and Bright". Her next fabric collection will be a Halloween one for 2015.
Kim has been involved in the DIY industry for many years, as the founder of YouCanMakeThis.com and SWAKembroidery.com. You may also recognize her as the co-host of The DIY Dish, an online sewing, quilt and craft show. Past seasons can still be viewed at www.theDIYdish.com.
Kim and her identical twin sister, Kris, have been featured on national television shows including The Rachael Ray Show and The Nate Berkus Show. You'll find them in magazines, such as "Quilts and More", "Where Women Create," and "Designs in Machine Embroidery”. Both are also monthly contributors to their local NBC affiliate lifestyle television show, Studio 5.
Kim enjoys sewing, crafting, quilting, photography, and embroidery. She’s a mom who juggles her children’s soccer, music lessons, and homework schedules while balancing the demands of her businesses.
Kim’s business team includes her husband, Ryan Christopherson, who manages the financial and technical operations within the company. Ryan is proud to be a technology and marketing geek. His background includes marketing, product management, and project management work within a variety of high-tech companies and start-ups.
