Sewing Machines With Automatic Needle Threading, #2 in Consumer Preferences. |
If the tiny metal threader hook is bent off center horizontally to the left or right of the 2 prong fork that straddles the needle when threading, you can use a tiny tension screwdriver to center the threader hook. If the threader hook is bent up or down it is more difficult to center vertically. If the hook is broken off the needle threader must be replaced. Needle threader hooks get bent or broken when the needle is not at its correct needle up highest position when threading, or if needle bar moves up or down while the threader hook is in the needle eye.
