This Fun and Fancy Sampler was designed as a companion pattern to Kate’s Fun and Fancy: Path to Ruler Work Quilting book. Together they allow you to make and quilt a beautiful sampler quilt while learning skills that will make you a better piecer and quilter.

The Fun and Fancy Path to Ruler Work Quilting features quilting designs for each block in this quilt, along with border and fill options. You can use the quilting designs and templates from the Fun and Fancy Collection or quilt it your own way. However you choose to complete your sampler, it a fun learning adventure to advance your quilting skills. Kate Quinn also plans to offer future quilts along featuring this Fun and Fancy Sampler quilt.

Kate recommends using the Westalee Design 3 piece Adjustable Locking Ruler Starter Set created by Leonie West to cut the fabric for this project. Her cut down video tutorial features these fabulous tools to make that part of the process easy, fast, and accurate. Other tools may be used but the pattern may require some conversion to use other cutting tools.
