We have created quite a few bookmark collections in the past but this is our first bookmark that hangs over the edge of the page, thus the name Book Huggers!
This design is created in a freestanding fashion, much like our Holiday Felt Gift Tags, with the exception that this design has a satin finishing stitch for the outline. This is an easy task to master and it is the same way that we create our coasters, ornaments, stabilizer holders and table toppers. This is a great technique to learn and what better way to learn than with a cute bookmark.
These furry friends are fun and easy to create, plus they also make great gifts for kids of all ages!
