JoAnn Connolly is a life-long seamstress and the owner of Garden of Daisies Embroidery. She started her embroidery business thirteen years ago when her daughter's Irish step dancing school needed costumes. Her business has evolved from embroidery and dressmaking to designing, digitizing, teaching, and writing about embroidery. She has had numerous articles published in Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine and will had a regular column beginning in 2013.
