The Atrix VACGRNS & HCTV5HR vacuums meet the EPA’s RRP requirements but only with this air driven turbo brush. In a nutshell, anyone working on a house built prior to 1978 is required by law to use a certified hepa vacuum. The people affected by this are electricians, home re-modelers, heating and air conditioning, window replacement, painters, etc. If they are not in compliance with the EPA’s guidelines, they can be fined $37,500 per day per offense, and face up to five years in prison.
