Note: The upgrades are not linear or cumulative, you can purchase or omit any of the 3 Luminaire Upgrades. So if you have the XP1, and want the newest features added to the XP 3 you can go straight to that, However you will miss some features of the XP1 Upgrade and XP2 Upgrade. That's why we have listed all 3 XP Upgrades under Recommended Accessories below.

Please note that xp1 customers should get the xp2 snowball upgrade to use snowball with tapering on the xp3 upgrade. They can still taper but snowball tapering will be greyed out.

    Hoopnetic 10x10in Magnetic Sash Border Frame

    Quilting, couching, and embroidery have never been so fun with the new 10” x 10” magnetic frame. This frame can hold thick fabrics and magnets slide into place, securing your material without residual hoop marks. Hoop in a jiffy with four magnets that quickly fit snug into place. You can also rehoop without removing it from the machine, making changes to any project much quicker! These frames are versatile and excellent for more oversized garments or items with plenty of room towards the back of the hoop.

Please click here to visit the Brother Solutions Center to view/download the 4.01 free firmware update to your machine main pc board. Once at the site, select your Operating System. The Brother XP3 Upgrade automatically updates the machine firmware to 4.01 to recognize the new 10x10" hoop.
