Christmas in July, or Holiday in July, is an unofficial holiday celebrated in the month of July. Christmas in July is also known as "Half-Christmas" in Australia. Half-Christmas is celebrated to mimic a traditional northern Christmas, such as a winter feast with heavy meats and lots of sweets that are too heavy to eat in a warm December climate.
