F.A.Q.

Bernina 1005 type 290 foot control and cord:

The original cord # 329.288.030 with 3 prong plug (picture submitted by your customer) will connect to foot control # 325.290.041.

Those two parts have been replaced with foot control with hard wire cord # 0049307001R

(4 prongs connecting to the terminal box of the machine)

The foot control sent will work with the machine, your customer is looking at the old cord that she will no longer need. Since she do not have the machine in her possession she is not understanding the new configuration.
