Since we started printing on fabric for our quilt block backgrounds, we have had dozens of ideas. By using a custom printed background, you are now able to incorporate fabric into your designs in a whole new way. Instead of designs that would be over 50,000 stitches, we are able to create beautiful designs at a fraction of that stitch count. The technique is very simple to master, and once you start printing your own fabric, you won’t be able to stop! The Birds of a Feather collection is full of whimsical patterns with embroidered birds, bird cages, and other details that fall both in the blocks and on top of the borders. These are fun, easy blocks to create and there are multiple shapes that can be combined for unique projects. The designs are also fully Mix & Match compatible.
