*Note: Your needle bar clamp must have a barrel extension for the needle set screw to the right of the needle bar clamp for the fork to span and activate the ruffler mechanism. Many new high shank straight stitch sewing machines DO NOT have the barrel extension (only a flush mount needle set screw on the right of the needle bar clamp) so there is no barrel extension for the ruffler fork to span and will not activate the ruffler.
