Needles for Embroidery Machines
The needle is not a permanent machine part. Needles get dull from use. Needles are meant to be changed. Clues to Changing the Needle - Shredding or broken threads - - Skipped stitches - - Puckered or damaged fabrics - - Wiggly squiggly seams - - Popping, clicking or clunking sound -What does needle size #90 mean? The number classification of a needle refers to the diameter of the blade (#90 means .9mm in diameter).
The larger the number, the larger the needle's diameter of the blade. Larger needles also have a larger eye making them ideal for thicker threads. If a thread moves through an eye that is too small for the diameter of the thread, the thread may heat up, skip stitches, shred or break.

is too small or too big for the thread and/or fabric may result in thread breaks or skipped stitches.
There are three things to consider when choosing the right needle for the job: fi nish, size and point.
DBxK5 is an established standard system for machine embroidery. This style needle has a medium
point with a larger eye, which allows the thread to fl ow smoothly and helps reduce thread breaks. Its
only downfall is that it is slightly less durable due to its thinner eye wall. For stretch materials, use
ballpoints. For cottons, use sharp-points.
DBx7ST is ideal for metallic threads. It has an extremely large rectangular eye that allows for easy
passage of thread. You may also use size 80/12 needles for metallic threads.

In co-operation with The Brother Group of Nagoya, Japan; Organ Needles has developed needle type HAx130EBBR in size 75 (11) for the Brother domestic embroidery machine PR600 PR620, PR650, PR1000(also works for Baby Lock EMP6 and BMP6, BMP8, BMP 9, ENT10, BNT10).

- Larger scarf for better creation of the loop and for prevention of skipped stitches.

Only the use of HAx130 EBBR offers high performance and excellent needle efficiency when using the Brother PR600-PR1000. When auto-threading the reliability of HAx130 EBBR is indispensable.
These needles were developed for use in the Brother Professional 6 Needle Machines (PR600, PR 600 II, PR620, PR650, PR655/E) and the Babylock Professional 6 Needle Embroidery Machines (EMP6, BMP8, BMP9, BNT10). They also work in the new Brother PR1000 and Baby Lock ENT10 machines. Although they are flat shank needles, they are built to industrial standards with a reinforced blade, oversize eye and a light ball point. DBxK5 needles work with industrial embroidery machines that take round shank needles such as Tajima, SWF Sumstar, ZSK Germany, Barudan, Melco, Amaya, Bravo, Happy, Janome MB4 EP4, Toyota, Brother 901 1201, Highlead, Renaissance, Ricoma, Generation, Meistergram, Etx.Choosing the right needle is important to ensure quality stitches. Embroidering with a needle that
is too small or too big for the thread and/or fabric may result in thread breaks or skipped stitches.
There are three things to consider when choosing the right needle for the job: fi nish, size and point.
DBxK5 is an established standard system for machine embroidery. This style needle has a medium
point with a larger eye, which allows the thread to fl ow smoothly and helps reduce thread breaks. Its
only downfall is that it is slightly less durable due to its thinner eye wall. For stretch materials, use
ballpoints. For cottons, use sharp-points.
DBx7ST is ideal for metallic threads. It has an extremely large rectangular eye that allows for easy
passage of thread. You may also use size 80/12 needles for metallic threads.
